Some Online Shopping, Perusing...

One of my other favorite "baby" blogs is withTWOcats. Their nursery is unbelievable (love that paint color!) and GASP! She confesses to not really like pregnancy all that much either. I think I must make one of these elephant pillows.

I officially can't button any pair of pants I own and be comfortable. Hurrah! The belly is here! As I told my friend, JN, last night, I'm sort of ready to be visibly pregnant and have a perma-belly instead of the on-again off-again type. A coworker told me that it is really cute today - I wore a clingier shirt to show it off. It took me almost 10 minutes to find something to wear this morning because many of the shirts I tried on did not adequately do the job of covering me and my unbuttoned pants (yes...i left the house with unbuttoned pants - THIS is why you need maternity shirts, people!). I hope that the belly is here to stay!

So I guess I will need to be a bit more diligent in the quest for clothes now. I got a package from Old Navy and Gap yesterday with some cute (AND UBER COMFY) dresses for summer but it will have to warm up a bit yet to wear them...but wait! I could pair them with LEGGINGS! The pregnant woman's staple, ha ha ha. I also ordered this skirt, which I predict will be in the weekly rotation at least twice if not three times - it is very comfortable on the belly. It is interesting because I ordered the same sizes in everything (Medium) and the old navy Medium is MUCH bigger and longer than the GAP stuff. I don't think that the GAP shirts will fit me for too long. I find this interesting because I hate the fit of regular Old Navy clothes and rarely purchase anything from there but for some reason, the maternity line seems to favor taller women. YAY! The one bad part about ordering online is that you can't return it in store - even stores that carry the maternity clothes which stinks. I think they recently changed this policy unfortunately.

I also saw a cute dress from...dare I say it...WALMART. I saw it first here. Apparently it was also featured on the Today show. Unfortunately, you have to order it online. UGH. As long as we're going online, check out Polarn O.Pyret and Shabby Apple too.
